Our handcrafted cultured vegetables are raw, naturally fermented and unpasteurised. In addition to the naturally occurring cultures we add a raw soil and tree bark derived probiotic culture that compliments the existing natural cultures, has specific gut health benefits. Because we use additional cultures our ferments only require a short fermentation time, between 3-7 days, which means they taste fresh, crisp and not too ripe!
All our ferments - sea kimchi, cucumber and red kraut are made using the same process and probiotics, so just choose whichever ones you most like the sound of! You can also do our dosha quiz at the bottom of our homepage to see what would suit your constitution from an Ayurvedic perspective.
If you don't specify which variety you want we'll send Sea Kimchi. Cucumber and Mint Kraut and our Seasonal Kraut which is presently Red Kraut with Beetroot, Caraway. If you'd rather have a different selection just let us know in the order notes.
Each ferment is also made with the following probiotic culture
Bifidobacterium Bifidus, Saccharomyces Boullardii, Lactobacillus Acidophillus, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Plantarum and saccharomyces boulardii
Sea Kimchi - Cabbage, Organic Carrots, Organic Jerusalem Artichoke, Organic Ginger, Garlic, Sea Salt, Gochugaru (Korean Red Pepper), Cayenne. North Atlantic Dulse Seaweed and Coriander.
