Wait without thought

I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hopeFor hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faithBut the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.T. S. Eliot Hi love This is an extract from one of my favourite poems. To me it captures the essence of meditation. How to optimise your fitness regime

I used to think it was better to just save exercise to the evenings to work off calories before bed ☺️   Something I’ve learnt from adopting the Ayurvedic dinacharya (or daily routine) is that movement in the morning is important for overall health as well as for releasing excess weight. Joanna was kind enough to share her experience to give some inspiration and tips  Add me to the Autumn cleanse wait list - 21/9/22 When you have excess weight to lose this is considered a Kapha imbalance in Ayurveda, fasting is recommended and can be done more often in these circumstances, for weight loss and detox.Joanna had over 2 stone to lose so she practiced IF...

My tips for intermittent fasting

Hi loveI wrote last week about practising Intermittent Fasting (IF) and how I find it great for health and weight management with the main three benefits being autophagy, ketosis (fat burning) and digestive rest. Adding an extra day of IF is my go to for detox and coming back into balance post holiday splurge!I got so many replies from other people who find IF really useful too. One of my subscribers lost over 2 stone with this approach and another does it particularly for the health benefits. This week I wanted to tell you about how I personally incorporate it into my daily routine.  Quite a few people who replied practice IF on a daily basis. I myself only do it two to...
